One of my favorite things about freelancing is how accessible it is.

Surprisingly, a lot of people aren’t aware that you don’t need a degree or a ton of experience to get started.

Even if you don’t have any experience — or any experience that you feel is relevant — there are skills that you can learn in a matter of hours or just a few days.

Then you can turn your skills into a freelance business that far out-earns anything you could make in a traditional employee role.

I learned this for myself when I was able to quit my jobs — yes, plural—thanks to my freelancing income, even though I had no “formal” experience in the services I was offering.

Spotting High-Earning Opportunities

There are a lot of beginner-friendly freelance jobs out there. A lot of them will have you working for pennies.

The ones I’m about to share with you are far more lucrative because they have retainer potential.

Rather than trying to get measly little jobs on Upwork, these services can be offered on a monthly recurring basis. Meaning you have long-term agreements (usually three months or more) with your clients to do the work every month.

And get paid every month.

That way you have a stable income and you’re not on the revenue rollercoaster so many freelancers find themselves on.

These are jobs I either have firsthand experience with, or I’ve seen other people have success with.

They don’t require any special equipment—just your laptop and WiFi, maybe some basic software, and a willingness to learn!

Reputation Management

Have you ever left a review on Google or Yelp and had the business write you back?
